What gives us the courage to shape the future—and how can we encourage one another?

With the Backspace Salon, von fraunberg art gallery launches a new conversation series at the intersection of business, culture and society. For the inaugural event, the gallery and IHK Düsseldorf invite you to explore “The Courage to Shape Change”.

This is deliberately different from a conventional speaker event: no lectures offering ready-made answers, no panel simply presenting one position after another.

The Backspace Salon creates space for a different kind of conversation—personal, open and on equal terms. People with different experiences and perspectives come together, listen, perhaps disagree, and develop new ideas through exchange.

The first edition is entitled “The Courage to Shape Change”. What gives us the courage to leave familiar perspectives behind? What does it take to turn an idea into real change? And how can we foster a culture in companies and society that encourages people to help shape the future?
