Successful New Year Auction

On January 17, the 11th New Year's Auction was held under the direction of Rheinlust Agency With the kind support of Locks brewery and the von fraunberg art gallery in the new Henkel Saal. The successful and entertaining auction was initiated by the Lord Mayor Dirk Elbers and Jenny Jürgens, which was happy about 10 percent of the income for its charitable organization “Herzwerk”. In keeping with this, every highest bidder got a sweet heart from the Düsseldorf traditional baker Josef Hinkel Presented. Under the hammer of Karl-Heinz Theisen All 33 works of art came from students and graduates of the Düsseldorf Art Academy. Some of the artists were present and were happy about a total proceeds of 30,770 euros, which corresponds approximately to that of the previous year.
